It's not about "embracing change" but "embracing challenge"
If you've attended one of my mental fitness training sessions, you know why the phrase "embrace change" can be toxic, because change isn't always healthful.
So as a gentle reminder for whatever change (i.e., stress) you're dealing with, now or down the road, aim to "embrace the challenge" of it. Even when your brain/nervous system wants to fight and resist it for your own health and well-being, learning and practicing how to navigate stress and change in a healthful way—to feel and do YOUR best, to achieve the healthful outcomes you want to achieve—is the ultimate goal!
