Go bananas for cookies!

Do you have a sweet tooth? Craving sweets doesn't have to be a bad thing, if you know what and how to eat.

Here's a sweet treat that would satisfy even the most ravenous of cookie monsters. The most important part is understanding your body, and knowing what's in the foods you eat. You might actually be craving what your body needs!

Chocolate Chip Cookies (Gluten Free)

1 medium-size ripe banana (mashed)
1 large egg (beaten)
1/3 cup all-natural peanut butter (or other nut butter)
1 Tbsp baking powder
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 cup dry oatmeal
1/4 cup dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips

PREPARATION
Mash banana with a fork until smooth. Add beaten egg, peanut butter and dry ingredients. Mix well. Spoon 2" drops of batter evenly onto non-stick cookie sheet (makes approx 19 cookies). Bake at 350 in preheated oven for approximately 10 minutes (until lightly golden -- cooking time may vary). Let cool. Then place a few on a nice plate, sit down, relax, and enjoy each bite!
